Under 17 in Quarter Finals

The youngest Uruguayan football team reached the quarter finals of Nigeria tournament when it knocked out Iran after extra time. Uruguay scored two goals through Sebastián Gallegos. It was a tough match. Unlike the Uruguayan team, Iran did not have many good chances to score goals.

The extra time found Uruguay playing very well and this led the team to victory with Gallegos goals. Iran pulled one back in the last minute. The next match will be Uruguay x Spain.
